The Ivy is London’s favourite restaurant, a uniquely British institution known throughout the world, offering a large and unique brasserie-style menu.  It is a much-loved by the pre and post theatre crowd, as well as attracting a devoted clientele from the arts and media and beyond.

We are now looking for a Pastry Chef to join this busy team.

The Pastry Chef is required to produce a range of deserts and pastries in both production and service. In the role you will manage your busy section, ensure all steps are taken to ensure the smooth running of the section and the production of the highest level of food. You will assist in the training and managing of the junior chefs as well as put forward your ideas to the development of the menu.

An ideal candidate for this role will have two years experience in the Pastry section as well as formal training at an NVQ level. You must have restaurant experience in a simliar high standard venue, producing all of your dishes from scratch using the finest ingredients. You must be able to work in an extremely busy environment with a level head and the initiative to see what must be done.

This Pastry Chef role is six shifts over five days and in return has a very competitive salary as well as a range of company benefits including:
